Notably, this massive effort to clone 10,000 digital assets is entirely community-driven.
The Bitcoin Apes are byte-perfect Ordinal recreations of the original Bored Apes, meaning that they are identical copies. While some are concerned about the reproduction of NFTs on the Bitcoin blockchain, others see it as a positive development that will help to secure the network by providing additional revenue for miners.
